Sustainable success for Westward

Westward strives to make homes more sustainable and energy-efficient, ensuring they are warmer and more affordable for those who live in them.

Their contractor, Low Carbon Exchange (LCX), joined members of their investment team to explain the project, address any customer questions and provide reassurance. 

Barn Park, a cluster of eight bungalows in Ashwater, North Devon, currently has EPC ratings from D to F. Following upgrades – including new roofs, insulation, windows, doors, solar panels and improved ventilation – these ratings will improve to ratings of A-C.

Partly funded by the government through Social Housing Decarbonisation Funding, this project is part of a broader initiative to upgrade 56 Westward homes.
